The January K of C Membership Meeting will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the Lower Hall beginning with the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. Ham, black-eyed peas, broccoli and cobbler will be catered by Home Plate. Our guest speaker will be Mandy Davis, Community Director at CHI St Vincent. Her position is new to CHI and the community. You've already been asked to complete the online sigh-up form. In 2024 if meal cancellations occur past meal reservation deadline, you are still responsible for payment. Cost is $15.
There will be a parish crockpot dinner Sunday, January 7, in the Lower Hall. Sign-up to bring your favorite crock pot dish begins December 26. Not a cook? Sign-up to bring bread, crackers or a dessert. We will gather at 4:30 p.m. and the meal will start around 5:00 p.m. After we enjoy the meal, Fr Bill will call BINGO. Those choosing to play, bring a gift valued between $10-$15 for prizes. Gift Certificates sponsored by the parish will also be items for BINGO.

We have an unfulfilled hour at 3:00 a.m. on Fridays. Some adorers in these early morning hours choose to share the hour with a friend (or friends) on an alternating basis. If you are a group would like to share this hour, please contact Lori Vincent at 337-654-2871.

The onlty collection at the Christmas Masses will be for the Clergy Welfare Fund. This fund provides retirement and health care benefits to retired and infirm priests around our diocese. Our priests spend every day of their adult lives as humble and devoted servants, doing God's work and serving us until age or infirmity calls them to retirement. Your contributions to the Clergy Welfare Fund make our priests' retirement possible. Please share with the them the generosity that they continue to share with us. The amount collected during the Fourth Sunday of Advent Masses goes to our parish.
