2020 09 Fr. Bill Parking Lot MassThe parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church express a most sincere Thank You to our pastor, Wililam Elser, for his outstanding pastoral service, especially during this Coronavirus pandemic.  His boundless energy, compassion and ingenuity is truly appreciated.  We also want to wish him a very Happy Birthday to be celebrated on Friday, October 2.
bowlingThe Bowling League for the new season 2020/2021 plans to begin on Thursday, September 10.  We plan to bowl on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. at Fiesta Bowl, N. Hwy 7.  It is a fun time and we welcome both parishioners and others who may be interested in joining.  If interested, there is a list in the narthex to palce your name.  We are recruiting both regulars and subs.  COVID precautions will be taken:  face masks worn, if social distancing cannot be adhered to, along with sanitizing before and after play.  Any questions, please call Bob or Ann Bowman at 501-922-6619.
Respect LifeThe Respect Life Committee needs a chairperson.  This committee, which is part of the Social Justice and Charitable Outreach Commission, oversees all aspects of respecting life, from the death penalty to abortion.  While the work is important, the duties of the chairman are already outlined and will be more rewarding than challenging.  If you would like to hear more about this position, please call or text me at 501-844-7656.  Thanks!
