Our annual Seminarian Support Dinner, sponsored by our Knights of Columbus Council 10208, will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017. Tickets will be on sale the weekends of July 1/2 and July 8/9, before and after all Masses. Dinner will be catered by Chef Johnna. Tickets are $20 each with your choice of (1) Tilapia, (2) Roast Chicken or (3) Prime Rib. All meals feature salads, delicious sides and Father Bill's famous ice cream!

In honor of Mary, our spiritual mother, and in honor of all mothers, we will meet for a day to pray and reflect on the nurturing qualities in our lives. That day is Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. Scholastica Retreat Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This day of recollection will be presented by Macrina Widerkehr, OSB who is well-known for her creative writing and retreat ministry. A Walt Disney True-Life Documentary titled, "Morning Light," will be shown on Wednesday, May 24, at 6:00 p.m. in the Lower Hall. The Parish Life Commission will be sponsoring this monthly parish event offering the typical movie snacks - along with a few not-so-typical movie snacks.

A final Spaghetti Dinner for the Spring of 2017 will be offered by the Knights of Columbus on Saturday, May 6, immediately after the 5:00 p.m. Mass (served at 6:15). The menu includes salad, pasta with bolognaise meat sauce, a dessert, condiments, coffee and a donation refreshment center with wine, soda, beer, and other beverages for your pleasure. Tickets will be sold before and after the Masses on the weekend of April 29/30. Tickets cost $8 each. Only 200 tickets are available, so please get yours ASAP! All revenues over cost go to faith-based charities, and your support this past year has been tremendous! God bless all, and we hope to see you there.
The Ladies of the Sacred Heart will have their annual "Living Rosary" after the 9:00 a.m. Mass on Monday, May 8, in the church. All parishioners are invited to attend.
The Knights of Columbus will continue to recite the Rosary on the fifth Sunday of the month before all Masses on April 29/30. All parishioners are invited to come to Mass 25 minutes early and join us as we use the power of prayer to request Mary's intervention with our intentions.
The Knights of Columbus will have the Holy Family Icon at our parish from April 23 through April 27. The Icon is moving throughout the state during April, and we are fortunate to have it within our parish for nine days. A special Mass will be offered at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, in the Main Church. Following Mass the Holy Family Icon will be in the Chapel for those wishing to petition the Holy Family in prayer. Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin will speak at the Village DeSoto Club on Thursday, April 27, at 2:00 p.m. about the significant contribution Arkansas Right to Life has made in the protection of the vulnerable unborn, disabled, ill and elderly.
